NAIDOC March - Friday 10th July
Please bring yourself and your friends and celebrate our survival by honouring our Elders and Nurturing our Youth.
The 2009 March will begin at 11am at Tarndanyangga (Victoria Square) and will travel along King William St to Tarnda Kanya (Elder Park) at the Festival Theatre.
Tarndanyangga (Victoria Square) is the traditional meeting place for the Kaurna people of South Australia;
Tarnda Kanya (Red Kangaroo Rock) is the traditional sacred ceremony grounds for Kaurna people and is located close to Elder Park on the banks of the River Torrens.
The most direct route between both places of significance is directly along King William St.
